10mm Kevlar Rope - Per Metre

This 10mm rope wick is used for many knots, including the ever-popular and challenging monkey fist.

Kevlar is the industry standard for fire prop construction, perfect for making your own staff, poi, darts and any other fire gear you want to custom make. It is the perfect material for making wicks as it can burn over 100 times if treated right. The kevlar absorbs the fuel, and once lit the fuel burns away, leaving the highly heat-resistant kevlar blackened but intact. 

Any wicks you make should be properly secured using minimally exposed hardware and/or sewn with kevlar thread and a curved sewing needle.
