Labour Weekend Sale

Labour Weekend Sale

Sitewide sale on now!

Did you know, the first official Labour Day was in 1900?

We celebrate Labour Day to commemorate the 8-hour working day, an initiative by the labour union movement which began in 1840. The 8-hour day is meant to recognise that each day holds 8 hours for work, 8 for rest, and 8 for play or recreation. Technically, that means you could spend 8 hours spinning your favourite prop/s each day!

Haven’t got your favourite prop yet? Well, now is the time! We’ve got 10% off sitewide, all Labour Weekend. Head to our shop now and get yourself something fiery, something flowy, or something glowy and make the most of your downtime each day.

STAY SPINFORMED

One of the most important things you’ll learn if you spin fire is how to do it in a way that keeps you, others around you, and your surroundings safe. One of the best ways to do this is to head along to your local fire night and learn in person from someone with experience.

We know that’s not always possible though, so we’ve put together some helpful information on keeping things safe when you light up. Part of that safety is ensuring your fire props are in good condition.

Our Wick Care and Fire Safety Guide will take you through it all, from preparing your wick for its first burn to wick maintenance, from how to fuel up and what safety equipment you should have, right through to what clothing is best, and of course, what to do if an accident does happen. Check it out!
